The Scripta Research Festival (SRF) of the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Sumatera Utara is a national-level scientific competition organized by SCORE PEMA of the Faculty of Medicine of USU. This time, SRF FK USU collaborates with the Scientific Training and Organizational Skills (PK2O) program to ensure the competition's success. SRF FK USU x PK2O 2025 will be held on February 5–8, 2025, under the theme "EINSTEIN: Empowering Innovation and Networking to Advance Metabolic System, Foster Public Health Awareness, and Educate Future Healthcare Professionals." As in previous years, the competition features four categories: Public Poster, Scientific Essay, Literature Review, and Oral Presentation.
The annual SRF FK USU x PK2O 2025 aims to create and support the development of a scientific atmosphere among medical students across Indonesia.
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of USU, Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe, Sp.S(K)., represented by Vice Dean I, Dr. dr. Delyuzar, M.Ked(PA), Sp.PA(K)., expressed great hope that the SRF will continue to be held in the coming years with even more participants from various medical faculties in Indonesia.

On the second day, all finalist delegates participated in the final round of their respective competitions, which took place in the Auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Faculty of Medicine of USU (06/02/2025). The event continued with a city tour to several tourist destinations in Medan, including the USU Rectorate Bureau, Maimun Palace, and the Grand Mosque of Medan. The day concluded with a night culinary tour and LO time at Wajir Seafood Restaurant and Sibolang Durian.
On Friday, February 7, 2025, the event continued with a national symposium featuring several speakers, including Prof. Rusly Harsono, MD., M.Sc., MBA., FAAP., DipABLM, CHEF, presenting "Diabetes Treatment in The Perspective of Lifestyle Medicine"; Bernard Adi Duanta Tarigan, S.Si, with "Utilization of Genomic Data in Diabetes Treatment"; Prof. Dr. dr. Dina Keumala Sari, M.Gizi., Sp.GK(K), discussed "Combating Obesity with Personalized Nutrigenomics Approach"; and Prof. Dr. dr. Dharma Lindarto, Sp.PD., K-EMD, covering "Management of Diabetes Using Herbal Medicine." After the symposium, the finalists had the opportunity to attend workshops on "Anaphylaxis in Children (Multiple Cases)," "Neonatal Resuscitation," and "pGALS Examination." The third day concluded with a closing ceremony and the announcement of winners, attended by all finalists at the Auditorium on the 3rd floor of the Faculty of Medicine of USU.
On the final day, a city tour to Lake Toba was conducted with the other finalist delegates. During this tour, the delegates visited several tourist attractions, including Pantai Bebas Parapat, Lake Toba, the Tomb of King Sidabutar, the Sigale-gale Performance, and shopping at Tomok Port Market. After completing the city tour, the delegates took a break for prayers, meals, and rest (Ishoma) before returning to the hotel.
