Learning Outcomes

Specialist Program in Pediatrics is a unit of education and learning activities at the Higher Education level with a curriculum and learning techniques for academic education and professional education in the field of pediatrics. It is anticipated that improving the quality of health services through the work of pediatricians will reduce infant mortality, child mortality, disease incidence, and improve the quality of life of Indonesian children, thereby bringing the country on par with developed nations.

Learning Outcomes
1 Able to apply the principles and methods of scientific thinking to solve health pediatric health problems.
2 Able to organize, implement, and evaluate preventive, promotive, curative, and rehabilitative initiatives in order to identify, prioritize, and develop Solutions to child health problems using scientific thinking.
3 Master the knowledge and contributing to the advancement of science and technology in the provision of pediatric health services.
4 Have the expertise, abilities, and attitudes necessary to comprehend and solve children's health problems scientifically and to optimally apply these solutions in the community.
5 Able to implement an evidence-based medicine (EBM) strategy to address complex pediatric patients with the utmost professionalism.
6 Able to deliver pediatric health care through interpersonal communication to promote optimal physical, mental, and social growth and development in children through efforts to prevent, treat, enhance health, and rehabilitate.
7 Able to conduct research (fundamental, clinical, or public health) and motivated to enhance their learning experiences in order to attain higher academic levels.
8 Able to set up child health services in a way that allows them to become a leader in the advancement of child health services with high professionalism.
9 Able to take part in pediatrics-specific health education as well as general health education.
10 Be receptive to developments and advances in science and technology, as well as community issues, especially those pertaining to pediatrics.
11 Have a sense of responsibility in practicing medicine in a service system that adheres to the National Health System and Indonesian Medical Ethics.
