This research aims to develop new diagnostic and therapeutic technologies for pulmonary diseases. Topics include the development of more sensitive and specific pulmonary function tests, using imaging technologies such as computerized tomography, and the development of biologically based therapies such as genetic or stem cell therapy for lung diseases.

Pulmonology is a medical science that studies how to treat disorders of the respiratory system, such as the bronchus, lungs, and alveoli. The Pulmonology Study Program aims to produce pulmonary and respiratory specialist doctors capable of providing ethical specialized medical education, research, and services in accordance with the advancements in science and technology.
Able to produce quality pulmonologists capable of developing science, technology, humanities, and arts based on morals and religion, as well as capable of competing at the national and international levels.
