The Specialist Program in Clinical Nutrition of Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) aims to train quality clinical nutritionists who can provide optimal nutrition services to the community. The comprehensively structured curriculum includes an in-depth study of clinical nutrition, medical dietetics, nutritional status evaluation, and nutritional management in various medical conditions.
Additionally, students in this program have the opportunity to develop clinical skills and engage in research in the field of clinical nutrition. Graduates of this program are expected to not only become skilled nutrition practitioners but also play an active role in disease prevention efforts through a deep understanding of the importance of nutrition in maintaining health. Graduates of this study program will obtain the Clinical Nutrition Specialist (Sp.G.K.) degree.
