The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU), conducted a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activity on Operators’ Roles in SEPTIA Usage on Monday, August 10, 2026. The activity took place in the Meeting Room on the 1st Floor of FK USU, starting at 8:30 a.m. WIB until completion, and was attended by SEPTIA operators from across FK USU.

The activity began with an opening and briefing by the Vice Dean for Administration, Finance, Human Resources, and Academic Infrastructure, Prof. Dr. dr. Dedy Hermansyah, Sp.B. Subsp.Onk(K). In his remarks, he emphasized that monitoring and evaluation are important to ensure that SEPTIA is utilized optimally and can effectively support administrative needs in each work unit. The evaluation was also expected to identify challenges faced by operators while encouraging better coordination in the use of the system.

The activity was subsequently facilitated by Nenni Dwi Aprianti Lubis, SP., M.Si., who coordinated the proceedings and the monitoring and evaluation process with the operators. During the activity, all operators were required to bring their SEPTIA usage logbooks from the previous three months as materials for evaluation and joint discussion.

The M&E activity served as an opportunity to assess the extent to which operators’ roles in using SEPTIA have been implemented across their respective work environments. In addition to evaluating system utilization, the activity provided a platform for coordination to identify challenges, needs, and necessary improvements so that SEPTIA can be used more effectively and consistently.

Strengthening the monitoring and evaluation of system utilization is also aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, particularly in promoting effective, accountable, and responsive institutional governance. Through usage records, periodic evaluations, and coordination among operators and work units, FK USU seeks to establish more orderly and accountable administrative processes.
