Faculty of Medicine Holds Meeting to Discuss IKP, IKU and WCU and Signing of Satker Performance Contract in 2025 Vice Dean III reminded the lecturers to be more active in guiding students to participate in national and international competition activities. The Anesthesiology & Intensive Therapy Study Program Presents Certificate of Expertise to 10 Specialist Doctors and Introduces New PPDS "The Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy Study Program of the Faculty of Medicine USU has achieved remarkable accomplishments over the past two years. One of its most notable achievements is the success of its students in securing a top-five ranking in the national examination. Dr. Amat Habibie was among the graduates who attained one of the highest scores this year. Additionally, the program received recognition from the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI) for the largest number of participants in basic life support training for public transport drivers." – Dr. Andriamuri. 08 February 2025

Conferment of Specialist Certification to 5 Doctors from the Specialist-1 Program in Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetics. On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, the Faculty of Medicine USU held a ceremony to confer specialty certificates upon five new specialists in Dermatology, Venereology, and Aesthetics. The event was attended by leaders from the department and study program, as well as representatives from city and provincial health offices, concluding with the hope that the new specialists will dedicate themselves to serving the community. 06 February 2025

RodentWatch USU Won 2nd place in International Event Team RodentWatch from Indonesia, led by dr. Sunna Vyatra Hutagalung MS., Ph.D. from USU's Faculty of Medicine, presented a platform that offers real-time surveillance data and creates risk maps. These maps highlight areas concerned with rodent infestations and diseases to facilitate targeted public information and interventions to protect populations. 23 January 2025
