FK USU Hosts the Signing of Cooperation Agreements with Partner Universities In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Prof. Dr. dr. Aldy Safruddin Rambe, Sp.S(K), extended a warm welcome to all invited guests who had taken the time to attend the event. He explained that the cooperation program is a follow-up to an initiative first launched by the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in the Science and Technology sector. The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara has been appointed as a mentoring institution for six partner medical faculties in the process of establishing new Specialist Study Programs (Sp-1 and Sp-2). 29 October 2025

Guest Lecture: “Medical Nutrition Therapy for Gastrointestinal Disorders” by the Clinical Nutrition Study Program This guest lecture was attended by lecturers, Clinical Nutrition residents, and P3D IPC rotation students of the Clinical Nutrition Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, USU. The event provided valuable insights and updates on the clinical application of medical nutrition therapy in various gastrointestinal disorder cases. 29 October 2025

Hundreds of Participants Join FK USU Fun Walk, Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle as the Main Focus The Fun Walk activity is held regularly every month and is organized alternately by all study programs within the Faculty of Medicine. According to Dr. dr. Muara P. USU Rodent Watch Team Participates in the Global Health Innovation Incubation Program (Asia Pacific Global Health Innovation Hackathon 2025) in Singapore The Rodent Watch team participated in intensive training sessions and mentoring activities involving experienced international mentors in the fields of health, artificial intelligence (AI), as well as innovative entrepreneurship and business. During this program, the team was introduced to the process of how startups present their ideas and innovative solutions to investors (venture capital), in order to broaden their insights into innovation-based health business development. 20 October 2025
