FK USU Delegation Wins 3rd Place in Literature Review Competition at RIMESCO 2.0 2025 Three medical students from the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU)—Ananda Putri Miftahul Janah, Alexander Williams Manalu, and Enrico Franditho Sihombing—won 3rd place in the Literature Review Competition category at the Riau Medical Scientific Competition (RIMESCO) 2.0 held by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Riau, from July 22 to July 27, 2025. 08 September 2025

60 New Doctors of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), Officially Take the Oath, 21 Graduate with Cumlaude Predicate “This marks a new milestone for the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), as under the leadership of Dean Prof. Aldy, the Faculty is, for the first time, able to hold the Doctor’s Oath-taking Ceremony at the USU Auditorium. USU PKKMB 2025: 7,961 New Students Officially Welcomed by the Rector at the USU Mini Stadium Nadhifa Putri Nisrina expressed her enthusiasm for participating in the PKKMB. "I am proud to finally become a student at USU, especially by joining the Faculty of Medicine. This has been my dream since childhood, to become a doctor. Through this PKKMB, I also feel more familiar with the values of the campus, especially regarding integrity and academic ethics, which are very important for future healthcare professionals. USU Faculty of Medicine Holds Handover Ceremony for New Students of Specialist, Master of Clinical Medicine, and Subspecialist Programs Prof. Fidel also emphasized that the USU Faculty of Medicine is one of the key pillars in realizing USU’s vision of becoming a World Class University. He noted that the success of specialist and subspecialist education would play a crucial role in determining academic quality as well as the competitiveness of health services at both the national and international levels. 10 August 2025

The challenges ahead will certainly be even greater after this inauguration process.
